An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 7 Weight Management Nurse Clinical Specialist in our Weight Management service at St George’s University Hospital .The post is fixed term for 1 year Maternity Cover

We are looking for someone who is a motivated enthusiastic about Medical weight management with excellent communication and team working skills to join our friendly Motivated team.

The post holder will provide a seamless service in the education, endocrine investigation and treatment of patients in the medical weight management services. The post holder will lead on national tier 3 service database collection locally with support from MDT team and lead for MOS.

The post holder is responsible and accountable for patients in the medical weight management pathway and work closely with Endocrine Investigation Unit for the provision of excellent care of patients within the Thomas Addison Unit.

The post holder is responsible and accountable for patients in the medical weight management pathway and work closely with Endocrine Investigation Unit for the provision of excellent care of patients within the Thomas Addison Unit.

The post holder is expected to work closely with consultants, members of the multidisciplinary team including diabetes, endocrine and surgical bariatric CNS, pharmacists, business managers, patient support groups, PALS, Ancillary staff, Matron for Medical Outpatients, research personnel, Estate department, security and catering.
