Summary
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: INTERNAL Senior Communications manager, Wessex Health Partners line manager. Directors of The Adam Practice Commercial Research Delivery Centre (Primary Care) Patient and Public Involvement officer, The Adam Practice support and promote PPI R&D teams and research staff in DCH, DHC and UHD for developing study-related communications and recruitment campaigns Wessex Health Partner colleagues for support on broader communications and marketing activities DCH, DHC and UHD communications and marketing teams to ensure alignment with corporate messaging and policies EXTERNAL NIHR and other research funding bodies for reporting and compliance communication Partner healthcare organisations and academic institutions for collaboration and stakeholder engagement Industry partners and commercial sponsors for project-related communications Public and patient groups for awareness raising and recruitment campaigns KEY RESULT AREAS Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, operational colleagues, research partners and industry sponsors. Act as a key point of contact for communications within the CRDC, providing advice and guidance to colleagues and partners. Represent the CRDC at internal and external meetings and events where required. Communications and content: Plan, gather and deliver high-quality content for a range of channels, including newsletters, social media, press releases, staff updates, websites, intranet and reports to funding bodies and others. Tailor messages for different audiences, ensuring communications are clear, engaging and accessible. Support the development of case studies and success stories to demonstrate the impact of commercial and non-commercial research. Digital and marketing: Plan, create and maintain patient-facing CRDC web pages on TAP website Plan and create marketing and promotional materials for internal and external audiences. Contribute to the management of digital and social media activity, ensuring alignment with TAP, WHP and partner Trust objectives. Research recruitment support: Deliver communications activities that support participant recruitment into commercial research studies. Is the target met, and within the timeframe? Work with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure recruitment messaging is clear, targeted and effective. Internal communications: Develop content and campaigns that keep research-facing staff informed, engaged and motivated. Ensure TAP communications align with partner-wide internal communications approaches. Monitoring and evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and engagement activity, using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Gather and maintain a record of metrics, to track engagement and effectiveness of these outputs Provide insight and recommendations to inform future strategies and continuous improvement. Other Support senior leaders with planning, reporting and delivery of research objectives. Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as required. Adhere to TAP values.
