The Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit is a specialist tertiary-referral ICU within the West Wing, a wing of the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK. The John Radcliffe Hospital is a world-renowned teaching hospital integrating acute and elective services with clinical research and education. The Neuro-ICU works closed with Oxford Critical Care, the Major Trauma Centre, and the Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Specialist Surgery departments to provide both emergency and elective care to patients with intracranial or head and neck diseases. The Neuro-ICU is a busy ICU but with a strong ethos of learning, equality, and multidisciplinary engagement. The Junior Clinical Fellows are genuinely welcomed and are an essential part of this Consultant-led team.
