Summary
Project Manager – Professional Services (SaaS / POS / EPOS / Enterprise Software)
An established enterprise software provider is hiring a Project Manager to join its Professional Services / Consulting team, delivering complex software implementation projects for UK based customers.
This role is ideal for an experienced Project Manager with SaaS, POS, or enterprise systems experience who enjoys working directly with customers and leading projects from initiation through go live.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of software implementation projects, acting as the primary point of contact between customers and internal delivery teams.
You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard while driving strong customer satisfaction and long term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead software implementation and consulting projects using structured project management methodologies
• Manage project planning, delivery, governance, and reporting from kick off to completion
• Scope and estimate implementation effort for small to medium sized projects
• Control project budgets, including revenue forecasting and billing milestones
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, adjusting for changing requirements
• Assign and coordinate project tasks across consulting and technical teams
• Monitor project performance, risks, and dependencies to ensure on time delivery
• Produce regular project status reports for customers and internal stakeholders
• Build strong, consultative customer relationships and deliver high touch service
• Maintain a high level understanding of enterprise software architecture and infrastructure
• Provide clear risk and delivery updates to senior stakeholders and management
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering software or SaaS implementations
• Experience working in Professional Services, Consulting, or Customer Delivery teams
• Strong working knowledge of project management tools (Excel, Smartsheets, or similar)
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer facing communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making ability
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
• Comfortable influencing stakeholders without direct authority
• Experience working in fast paced, delivery focused environments
Desirable Experience
• Experience delivering EPOS/POS, retail systems, logistics, or operational software
• Industry exposure within convenience retail, forecourt, multi site, or wholesale environments
• Background in enterprise, operational, or transaction heavy software platforms
