Summary
Requirements:
We require a trainee technician to expand our AWS (Approved Workshop) located in Bamber Bridge, Preston. Some experience within the leisure industry or similar is required. Experience in working with 12Volt, gas, 240Volt and water would be an advantage. The role involves the helping our technicians in installation, maintenance and repair of most fitted accessories.
Main responsibilities:
Would be learning and assisting our technicians on the following:
· Fitting of accessories, such as bike racks, awnings, TV/Satellite/Wi-Fi aerials, hydraulic levelling systems, air suspension, inverters, alarm systems, reversing cameras, lithium batteries, solar panels, air conditioning and heating systems and more
· Habitation service and repairs
· Gas installation
· 12V and 240V installations
· To maintain a clean and tidy workshop environment at all times.
The right candidate will need the following attributes:
· Can complete tasks within a strict timeframe whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship
· Professionalism - possess the confidence and competence to communicate with customers when required
· Be respectful of customers, customers’ vehicles and their property whist completing work
· Be willing to undertake internal/external training
This position is full time and permanent upon completion of a successful 3 month probationary period.
