Summary

Construction Site Manager
Location: Sudbury
Rate: £270 – £290 per day (DOE)
Duration: Minimum 2 months
Start Date: ASAP

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Site Manager to support a commercial new build project based in Sudbury. This is a minimum 2-month contract with a well-established main contractor.

You will be working as part of an established site team, overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily site activities and subcontractor coordination
  
• Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
  
• Managing programme and ensuring works are progressing to schedule
  
• Liaising with project stakeholders and reporting into senior management
  
• Maintaining site records and ensuring all documentation is up to date
  
• Driving quality control across all stages of the build
  

  Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial new build projects
    
  • Background working with Tier 1 or leading main contractors
    
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management
    
  • IT literate and confident using site management software and systems
    
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid
    
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
