Summary
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Preparing bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients
Processing purchase and sales invoices
Completing bank reconciliations and journals
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and year-end accounts
Preparing VAT returns and ensuring deadlines are met
Liaising with clients to request information and resolve queries
Maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software
Supporting senior accountants with ad-hoc tasks as required
Essential Qualifications
GCSE English – Grade 4 or above
GCSE Maths – Grade 4 or above
AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
Skills and Attributes
Strong communication skills
Confident IT skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good organisation and time management skills
Administrative and number skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
