Summary

Roving Ambassador (Facilities Assistant)Mitie | Supporting Lloyds Banking Group Leeds City Centre £13.45 per hour 40 hours per week | Monday-Friday | 7:30am-6:30pm Reporting to: Regional FOH Lead



Make Every Day ExceptionalThis is not a standard facilities role.

As a Roving Ambassador, you are the heartbeat of the workplace experience — delivering a seamless, 5-star environment where colleagues and visitors feel welcomed, supported and valued from the moment they arrive.

You'll combine concierge-level service with hands-on facilities expertise, ensuring every space functions perfectly and every interaction leaves a lasting impression. Whether you're troubleshooting AV, preparing an executive meeting room, hosting a VIP guest, or proactively resolving a workspace issue before anyone notices — you're always one step ahead.

This is a fast-paced, visible and physically active role. You'll spend much of your day on your feet, moving throughout the building, solving problems and elevating standards.

What You'll Be Doing Meeting Rooms & Event Spaces
-Own the full set-up and reset of meeting rooms to specified layouts

-Ensure rooms are presentation-ready at all times

-Provide first-line AV support (MTRs, microphones, speakers, docking stations)

-Proactively check equipment to ensure it's always fully operational

Guest & Colleague Experience
-Deliver warm, concierge-style welcomes

-Manage visitor check-ins and departures smoothly and efficiently

-Proactively manage lobby flow and queues

-Act as a visible, mobile point of support throughout the building

-Build rapport with regular visitors and understand preferences

-Deliver exceptional VIP hosting

Facilities & Workspace Management
-Conduct daily floor walks and service audits

-Log, track and see work orders through to resolution

-Maintain all physical touchpoints to agreed layout and housekeeping standards

-Act as an interlock between service teams to resolve issues quickly

-Support facilities compliance and operational excellence

-Escort approved contractors on site

Coordination & Administration
-Triage and resolve queries across multiple platforms

-Maintain trackers, logs and digital records

-Prepare reports

-Order stock, peripherals and uniforms

-Support team briefings in the absence of the Facilities Manager

What We're Looking ForExperience
-Minimum 2 years in a corporate environment or high-end 5* hospitality

Skills & Attributes
-Immaculate personal presentation

-Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)

-Calm under pressure and highly organised

-Natural problem solver with strong initiative

-Confident working independently

-Physically comfortable being on your feet throughout the day

-Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

-Professional, discreet and dependable

Technical Skills
-Proficient in Outlook, Word, Teams and Chrome

-Experience with visitor management systems (e.g. Condeco)

-Confident with meeting room AV technology

-Comfortable managing high volumes of digital queries

Additional Requirements
-SIA Licence (to be provided)
