We are currently recruiting for a Street Scene Operative to work with a local authority team in Kidderminster (DY10). This is a full-time, ongoing role with consistent hours and a pay increase after 12 weeks.
Pay & Hours
£12.21 per hour (rising to £13.88 after 12 weeks)
37 hours per week
Wednesday to Sunday
07:00 – 15:00 shifts
Immediate start available
Ongoing until at least June 2026
The Role
Working as part of the street scene team, duties will include:
Litter picking and emptying bins
Sweeping streets and public areas
Graffiti removal
Clearing fly tipping and debris
Weed removal and general grounds maintenance
Planting and environmental upkeep
What We’re Looking For
Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather
Reliable and able to commit to full-time hours
Good work ethic and team player
Previous grounds maintenance or street cleansing experience preferred
Essential Requirements
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
References required prior to start
