Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
32 hours and 30 minutes per week
8:15am – 3:15pm Monday to Friday (includes an unpaid 30-minute daily lunch break)
38 weeks and 3 days per year (Term time plus 3 of the 6 school INSET days)
Grade 13 NJC points 6-11 – FTE £25,989 - £28,142 (Pay Award pending)
Actual starting salary - £19,348

The Castle School requires an ambitious and dedicated Attendance Officer to support students in achieving their full academic potential by promoting excellent attendance.
This isn't a back-office role. You'll be a visible, proactive presence, and a key figure in ensuring our students unlock their full potential. You'll be engaging directly with students, parents, and staff, driving positive change and celebrating every attendance triumph.
This is an interesting and varied role, based in the heart of the school in the Pastoral Hub. We’re looking for someone who is highly organised with excellent administrative skills, with proven knowledge of Microsoft packages. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail, and ideally have experience of working in a busy office or a school environment.
