Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Worth Primary School are looking a skilled and experienced Site Maintenance Officer to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will ensure that the whole school environment site is safe, secure, clean, well-maintained and that compliance requirements are met. This is a hands-on role that combines operational oversight and practical maintenance responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who can confidently liaise with external contractors, comply with health and safety as well as carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks using practical trade-related skills such as basic plumbing, painting, decorating and general repairs.

You will be expected to undertake the efficient maintenance of the buildings and site; including minor improvements and repairs, monitor and operate site systems (alarms, heating etc), organise and monitor the work of contractors as well as ensuring site security and health and safety systems across school.

The working day will begin at 8.00am and working hours will be flexible and negotiable. This will be discussed with suitable candidates at the interview.
