Summary

We are currently recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants across Birmingham to support pupils in a range of primary and secondary school settings.

This role involves working closely with teachers to support learning, provide targeted interventions, and assist students with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH. You may be working 1:1 or with small groups, helping to create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

We are looking for individuals who are proactive, reliable, and confident in managing classroom behaviour, with a genuine commitment to supporting student progress.

The Successful Teaching Assistant Will Have:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a school-based role


  • Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs


  • Strong behaviour management skills and confidence in the classroom


  • The ability to support learning across a range of subjects


  • A patient, adaptable, and professional approach


  • A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
