Summary
Westfield Infant School are looking to appoint a enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our warm and friendly team. You will be required to work 5 days a week during term-time (Monday - Friday 8:30-3:30) and the post is offered on a fixed term basis to start asap, until July 2027.We are looking for an experienced individual who is hardworking, caring and creative and has a clear understanding of child development. We need someone who works well as part of a team, but who is also able to work on their own initiative.
The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the class teacher to support pupils in their learning. You will be required to provide general support in the management of pupils in class and in preparing the learning environment. You may also be required to provide support by working with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, these pupils may have Special Educational Needs.Why join us?
