Summary

The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a skilled and analytical individual to join our Management Information and Funding (MIF) department as a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in transforming data into meaningful insight, supporting strategic decision‑making, and contributing to continuous improvement across the College.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for:

Designing, developing, and maintaining BI reports and dashboards that are accurate, user-friendly, and aligned to business needs.
Creating data extracts and imports that support the effective and reliable management of student and funding data.
Building innovative, technical solutions to complex business challenges across the College.
Supporting reporting and analytics from key systems such as OneFile, eTrackr, Dynamics, and ProAchieve.
Coordinating software updates through thoughtful planning, clear communication, and collaborative working with colleagues and external partners.
Providing flexible support across the MIF team, including cover during peak periods such as enrolment or system upgrades.
