Summary
The post holder will be responsible for cleaning and decontaminating the interior and exterior of WAST Emergency Vehicles to a national standard and comply with national infection prevention control measures. The post holder will also be expected to undertake basic vehicle roadworthiness checks, safety/functional checks of onboard equipment (medical and non-medical) to ensure that WAST Emergency Vehicles are suitably stocked with equipment and consumables to meet the busy demands placed on the service. As there will also be a requirement for the post holder to move WAST Emergency Vehicles across Ambulance Service Stations, there will be a requirement for them to hold a C1 driving license with no more than three penalty points.
