UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE + MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFE We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team at HMP Garth, a high security Category B male prison located in Leyland. HMP Garth has capacity of around 792, and houses men serving long term and indeterminate sentences. In this crucial role, you will work within the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), made up of primary care, substance misuse and mental health. Although your focus will be primary care, you will gain experience across all pathways. This is a great role in which you really can make a difference whilst growing your own skills - we are happy to support and train you in venepuncture, ECGs, wound care etc - we just need you to have a passion for delivering exceptional care! You will be fully supported and learn skills to grow your career! Hours This position is full time working 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis. The rota is: Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Shifts are 07:30 - 19:45 We have an 8 week rota, and 2 of those weeks are night shifts, working the same as above, but 19:45 - 07:30. Salary You will receive an annual salary of between £25,557 - £29,723 per annum depending on experience.
