Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operational Manager to oversee the daily running of our busy Bus and Coach and Garage. This is a key leadership role, ensuring our fleet, staff, and compliance standards operate at the highest level.
Salary: Dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
• Day to day management of garage operations
• Oversight of MOT scheduling and compliance
• Management and monitoring of tachograph systems
• Ensuring vehicles meet all safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinating with drivers, engineering teams, and office staff
• Ensuring all busses are clean prior to hire.
• Supporting efficient fleet planning and service delivery
• Maintaining high standards of operational performance and customer service
Essential Requirements
• PCV Drivers Licence
• Drivers Licence
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to lead teams and manage operational challenges effectively.
Desirable
• Manager CPC qualification, or willingness to work towards gaining it.
• Previous experience in a transport, fleet, or garage management role
• Knowledge of DVSA regulations and compliance procedures
