Your new company
Desian Education are proud to be supporting a single-form entry primary school in Ellesmere Port that is easily accessible via public transport as they require an experienced and motivated teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time temporary basis until the end of the academic year.
Your new role
You will be joining an extremely lively Year 3 class, supporting the class teacher in the delivering of inclusive and engaging lesson delivery. You will support a small group of pupils with ALN (additional learning needs) in the class, planning and delivering specific interventions to make subject short-falls areas of strength so they reach their full academic potential. You will also hold 1:1 and small group reading comprehension within a separate class.
What you need to succeed
- Full “Right to Work” in the UK
- Having NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not essential
- A minimum of 40 days referenceable classroom experience within the last 2 years
- Good knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum
- Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Children’s DBS check
