Summary
Year 3 Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary role starting ASAP until the end of the academic year

Duties as Year 3 Teacher:
- Teach a Year 3 class 2 to 3 days per week.
- Deliver engaging lessons using school planning frameworks where appropriate.
- Maintain strong behaviour management and positive classroom routines.
- Support pupils’ literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum progress.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied needs, including SEND.
- Provide feedback to support pupil development.
- Collaborate with phase colleagues to ensure consistent provision.
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare.
Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong KS2 teaching experience.
- Confident managing behaviour and supporting pupils with mixed abilities.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Reflective, proactive and committed to high‑quality teaching.
- Reliable, adaptable and confident working part‑time across the week.
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being.
