Summary

Assistant Shop Manager

Location: Lewes

Responsible to: Lewes Shop Manager

Purpose:
Support the Shop Manager with managing the Age UK East Sussex Lewes Shop to achieve sale and profit targets to support the local work of the charity. The Lewes Shop operates on a 7-day basis and working hours include Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis.

Hours:
21 hours, 3 days out of 7, to include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Salary: £13,988.52

Holiday: 25 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata)

Age UK East Sussex is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager to support and lead the team within our successful charity Shop in Lewes.

You will need to have experience of customer service, be well organised and have a background of achieving targets and maintaining high standards. You must be motivated to lead a team to maximise profits to support our charity.

Our Shop Managers and Assistant Shop Managers must have the ability to lead from the front, manage a diverse group of staff and volunteers and be proactively looking to further progress our business.
