Join us as a Managing Quantity Surveyor and take the lead on exciting public and private sector construction projects. You'll play a pivotal role in providing commercial guidance, ensuring compliance, and supporting our talented project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the construction build team, supporting them in delivering high-quality projects whilst maintaining excellent commercial standards. Your day to day will include:
-Providing financial feasibility advice during the early stages of projects,
-Assessing sub-contractor returns and awarding work packages,
-Monitoring expenditure against budgets through Value Cost Reconciliation Reports,
-Leading and developing your team, managing workloads and performance,
-Collating and reviewing commercial information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
What are we looking for?
This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
-You have experience working on large two-stage bids,
-You've worked within a Tier 1 main contracting environment,
-You're comfortable building relationships with clients, sub-contractors and internal stakeholders,
-You enjoy mentoring and supporting junior team members,
-You have strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
