Landmarc Support Services are seeking a Regional Technical Manager who brings clarity, confidence, and technical leadership to a diverse and high‑profile Built Estate. This is a role of influence rather than operational management, your expertise will shape how safety, compliance, and technical standards are delivered across the region.

If you’re someone who leads through knowledge, supports others to excel, and takes pride in raising standards, this is a role where you can make a genuine impact. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with strong Legionella and/or Asbestos experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead regional management of Legionella and Asbestos compliance, ensuring robust control measures and clear technical guidance
  • Provide technical assurance across key safety disciplines, ensuring competent AP coverage
  • Maintain and assure the FGAS register, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Offer expert advice on statutory regulations, standards, and best practice
  • Support project teams with technical specifications and subject matter expertise
  • Conduct audits, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure competent personnel are in place and compliance plans are delivered effectively

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in Legionella and/or Asbestos compliance (essential)
  • A strong technical foundation, sound judgement, and the confidence to guide others on fire, electrical, DSEAR, fuels, gas
  • Understanding of building services and statutory regulations (e.g., SFG20, CDM, Fire, Gas)
  • Health & Safety knowledge at IOSH Managing Safely level or above
  • Confident IT skills, ideally with CAFM experience (e.g., Maximo)
  • A quality‑driven mindset with experience in assurance and auditing
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities

Desirable Qualifications

  • Responsible Person (Legionella)
  • Responsible Person (Asbestos) or P405

Travel Expectations

This is a regional role covering multiple sites in the South West area.

  • You will receive a £500/month car allowance
  • Business mileage is reimbursed in addition to the allowance
  • Travel varies week‑to‑week but typically includes regular site visits across the South West region
