Summary

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey?

We are currently recruiting for a committed SEND TA to join a welcoming and inclusive school in East London. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and help them reach their full potential in a supportive environment.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND


  • Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs


  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets


  • Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs and abilities


  • Support pupils’ emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement


  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning experiences

      The Ideal Candidate:

      • Previous experience working with children with SEND


      • Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach


      • Strong communication and teamwork skills


      • Good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management


      • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)


        This role is ideal for individuals with experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, or Youth Worker who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
