Summary
We are a busy surgery who work with a total triage system as well as an on-call GP each afternoon from 1pm. We are a training practice for both GP and Nurse trainee's. We are looking for 5 sessions per week Tuesday afternoon, Thursday morning and afternoon and Friday morning and afternoon. Appointments are 15 mins with the majority f2f and some telephone calls. Morning sessions 9am to 1pm max 15 appointments and afternoon sessions 3 to 6pm max 12 appointments. All clinical staff have a coffee break between 10.15 to 10.45 which gives time for relaxation, discussion and general chatting - tea/coffee/biscuits daily. Free parking on site, good road and rail networks. We would expect the successful candidate to fit in with the work rota which includes prescription signing, workflow documents/letters, blood test results, on call rota and place in the home visit rota - please note we have minimal home visits as we work closely with our PCN who have the ECP's for home visits and care home ward rounds.
