About the Client
Camden Council’s Facilities Management service ensures safe, clean and well‑maintained environments across council buildings. The team plays a vital role in supporting staff, residents and visitors by maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety and presentation.
The Role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Cleaners to provide high‑quality cleaning services across council facilities. The post holders will work as part of the Facilities Management team to ensure all areas are maintained to required standards, supporting the smooth operation of the building and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment.
A Standard DBS is required for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general cleaning duties across designated areas
Maintain cleanliness of offices, communal spaces, restrooms and meeting rooms
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products and consumables
Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
Follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH requirements
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
Work effectively as part of a wider facilities team
Candidate Requirements
Previous cleaning or facilities experience preferred
Ability to follow cleaning schedules and work independently
Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Understanding of health and safety requirements
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Standard DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
