Summary
Skippy Waste Services Ltd is a small business in Stockton-On-Tees. With over two decades of experience, we have become one of Teesside’s favourite waste disposal companies providing services for both residents and commercial businesses throughout the area.
We have a fleet of wagons and over 200 skips of varying sizes, from mini 2-yard skips, right up to large 40-yard roll on/roll off skips for industrial use.
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting waste. This position requires a valid HGV drivers licence and CPC, knowledge of Law and regulations, the ability to safely operate a vehicle and maintatin appropriate records. The successful candidate will also need to possess excellent customer service skills. This role also includes driving Class 2 vehicles.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain a valid driver's licence and CPC..
-Follow all safety regulations and procedures while driving.
-Perform daily checks of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
-Load and unload safely.
-Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including fuel consumption.
-Good communication skills.
-Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.
-Maintain company policies and procedures.
