Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and supporting students at the very start of their university journey? We are looking for a motivated and organised Enquiries & Fulfilment Assistant to join our Global Student Recruitment and Outreach team.
In this varied and people-focused role, you will act as a first point of contact for prospective students, parents, schools, agents and colleagues across the UK, Europe and internationally. Using email, phone, webchat, online events and social media, you will provide accurate, timely and friendly responses to enquiries, ensuring every interaction reflects the University positively and supports applicants from initial interest through to enrolment.
Alongside enquiry management, you will play a vital role in our fulfilment and stock operations. This includes managing recruitment materials such as prospectuses and brochures, maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating dispatch and international freight, and working closely with suppliers to ensure high service standards with minimal waste. You will help monitor trends and usage data, contributing to reporting that supports future recruitment planning and service improvements.
You will also support open days, recruitment events and peak activity periods such as Confirmation and Clearing, helping to coordinate materials, highlight staffing needs and ensure smooth operational delivery. Working collaboratively within the team, you will contribute ideas for improving processes, systems and the overall prospective student experience.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong organisational ability and a customer-focused approach. You should be comfortable managing competing priorities, working accurately with systems and data, and collaborating with colleagues across departments.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic recruitment environment and make a real impact on the University’s engagement with future students worldwide.
Non-salary benefits include:
• 26 days holiday, plus 6 university closure days and bank holidays
• attractive pension scheme
• hybrid working model
• staff discount and benefit schemes
• training and development
This post is full time, however, job-share or flexible working arrangements will be considered.
This post is fixed term until 5 April 2028.
