Summary
The opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of an Operational Quality Technician.
The successful applicant will follow the Fillcare Quality System ensuring that product supplied to customers is of the highest possible standard. The Quality Technician performs In Process Quality Controls in a way that benefits the site’s performance in the areas of Quality, Cost and Delivery.
Essential Job Functions/ Responsibilities
• Undertake all required tests on relevant samples in accordance with the Fillcare Quality System and specifications.
• Ensure that relevant operational traceability paperwork is available and correct.
• Take decisions on relevant stock
• Communication of In Process Control results and decisions where necessary.
• Administrative duties including timely completion and filing of records
• Organising work to ensure production lines are monitored
• Recording of non-conformances and appropriate follow up and communication
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards and working to Good Laboratory Practices.
• To support the Quality Department and Manager in any other relevant quality tasks including but assisting with investigations.
Qualifications – Minimum
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software
• Good standard of Education
• Good standard of written English & Math’s
• Good communication skill & attitude
• Understand & use of relevant testing equipment.
Minimum Skill Requirements
• Good communication skills & attitude
• Team player
• Competent & self-motivated
Other Skills/Abilities Desirable
• Awareness & experience of modern improvement tools & techniques
• Data handling / PC skills
• Able to work under pressure to achieve tight delivery schedules
• Is able to identify opportunities to implement new ideas and generate creative solutions
• Relevant industry recognized Quality qualification.
• Knowledge and experience of working in a FMCG environment
