Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport children with Special Educational Needs to and from school.
Provide transport for adults attending day centers, medical appointments, or other social care services.
Ensure passengers are comfortable, secure, and supported throughout the journey.
Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking where required.
Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to changes when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and basic checks of the vehicle.
Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and road traffic regulations at all times.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, schools, and care providers.
Requirements:
Valid driving licence (appropriate category for the vehicle used).
Experience working with children, vulnerable adults, or individuals with SEN (preferred).
Good knowledge of local routes and navigation.
Patient, caring, and professional attitude.
Enhanced DBS check .
Basic first aid training
