Summary
Are you an experienced MOT Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity within a busy automotive environment? Our client, a reputable volume main dealership in Indian Queens, is looking to recruit skilled MOT Technicians at all levels.
This is an excellent chance to join a well-established organisation that offers professional development, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment. The role of MOT Technician will involve working within a busy workshop, providing high-quality service to customers.
Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £35,000 for Service Technicians, up to £40,000 for Diagnostic Technicians, and up to £45,000 for Master Technicians
- OTE of more than £10,000, depending on experience and performance
- Regular overtime opportunities before or after scheduled hours
- Working hours from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with no weekend commitments
- Generous holiday entitlement of 22 days plus bank holidays
- Ongoing training and development, including MOT licensing support for eligible candidates
Duties :
- Performing MOT tests with full certification or supporting colleagues to achieve MOT accreditation
- Conducting vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently within set timeframes
- Keeping accurate inspection reports and workshop records
- Assisting team members to meet productivity targets and workshop goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MOT Technician within a busy workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of modern vehicles
- Full UK driving licence; applicants with unspent motoring convictions should avoid applying
- MOT certification or willingness to undertake training to obtain MOT certification
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
- Excellent team player with good communication skills
- Motivation to develop skills and progress within the automotive industry
