Duties associated with the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester position include:
- Conducting MOT inspections to industry standards efficiently and accurately
- Servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles
- Conveying test results and additional work requirements clearly to the service reception team
- Performing diagnostic checks and repairs as required
- Maintaining high standards of quality inspection and customer service
- Adhering to safety protocols and workshop policies at all times
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester; sole testers and part-time applicants considered
- Valid MOT testing certification
- Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work
- Effective communication and team-working skills
- Full driving licence
