The position of Van Technician – Night Shift provides a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, with hours from 21:30 to 08:00, Monday to Thursday. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vans and other light commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and compliance standards while maintaining high service quality.

Duties:
- Perform major and minor repairs on Mercedes-Benz vans and other light commercial vehicles
- Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults with precision
- Execute wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain detailed vehicle records using Keyloop/Kerridge systems
- Complete warranty claims accurately and escalate issues when necessary
- Assist with workshop duties including vehicle inspections, cleaning, and inventory management
- Work collaboratively with team members to diagnose and plan repairs
- Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer standards and safety regulations
- Complete customer documentation accurately and within designated times
Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI qualification in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (PV experience considered)
- Proven diagnostic and repair experience on vans and light commercial vehicles
- Ability to identify faulty components in line with DVSA standards
- Full UK driving licence relevant to vehicle classes for a Van Technician
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality workmanship
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
