Our client, a well-established breakdown service provider, is looking to recruit a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This position offers excellent prospects for career development, a supportive working environment, and competitive remuneration.
Benefits of the Mobile Vehicle Technician position include:
- Competitive basic salary of £38,625 with an OTE of up to £50,000
- Working week of 40 hours, primarily Monday to Friday, with optional Saturday shifts on a 1-in-4 rota

- Company van and all necessary tools supplied, with no additional costs

Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician include:
- Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, brake replacements, and electrical system repairs
- Service electrical vehicles, including software updates and electrical diagnostics
- Complete safety recall campaigns as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out, parts used, and customer communications
- Ensure all work adheres to DVSA standards and maintains high levels of safety and quality
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining repairs and findings professionally
- Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement within the service team
Requirements:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in automotive repair
- Proven experience as a Mobile Vehicle Technician or within a similar position
- Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of modern vehicle systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Full clean UK driving licence
