Overview
Search are delighted to be supporting the recruitment of an Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance function. This is a senior and influential role offering the opportunity to lead on core financial reporting, guide a finance team, and support key decision‑making across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, confidence managing month and year‑end cycles, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting
Lead monthly and annual reporting, statutory filings and external audit activity - Team Leadership
Manage and support a small finance team, ensuring high‑quality output and strong collaboration - Payroll Oversight
Oversee payroll, pensions, tax submissions and key external financial partnerships - Financial & Capital Management
Prepare reconciliations, cashflow forecasts and insights, while managing capital reporting, asset oversight and due diligence - Business Partnering & Process Improvement
Partner with teams on compliance, budgeting and strategy, while driving process optimisation, automation and AI‑enhanced finance improvements
What We're Looking For
- Full Qualification
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) - Finance Experience
5+ years experience in a finance role with team oversight responsibilities - Technical Expertise
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including statutory reporting and audit preparation - Cross‑Functional Work
Experience collaborating across departments and building effective internal relationships - Adaptable Delivery
Ability to work confidently in a fast‑paced environment - Strong Communication
Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
