This is a part-time role, working 22 hours per week.

The proposed working pattern for this role will be:

  • Monday - 08:30am - 5:00pm
  • Wednesday - 08:30am - 5:00pm
  • Friday - 08:30am - 4:30pm

This is a Maternity Cover post, which will end on the return of the substantive post holder.

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Day to day duties

  • Co-ordinating and managing the EQA and awarding body visits when relevant to education and early years delivery and liaising with internal stakeholders, where necessary.
  • Facilitating the sharing of best practice and developing areas for improvement following EQA visits.
  • Developing and implementing a robust and fit for purpose learner feedback process, in consultation with the central Quality Team, which is appropriate to the types and duration of the courses.

  • Overseeing the ongoing collection of learner feedback and action any issues immediately with manager and Delivery Teams.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience of awarding body and external verification requirements.

  • Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.

  • Assessor and Verifier Qualification.
