Role Purpose
Supply Chain Specialists will execute low-complexity sourcing events and provide essential support in maintaining contract records, monitoring financial performance, and assisting with governance reporting for nominated sectors. Working under the guidance of Senior Supply Chain Managers, this role ensures the integrity of contractual documentation and provides analytical support to business stakeholders. The position is designed to build expertise in contract management while contributing to the Company's commercial objectives.
Specific duties include:
Contracts Administration & Records
Maintain and ensure the integrity of the Contract Management and Change archive, including base and actual values, execution versions, CCN records, and records of additional services procured.
Prepare and maintain auditable records of contract value changes, including contract waterfalls.
Maintain accurate records of invoice values over time.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of KPIs for contractual performance.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for governance meetings, highlighting the commercial state of supplier relationships.
Financial & Analytical Support
Provide analytical support and advice on unit pricing and contract changes to business stakeholders.
Manage the Payment and Invoicing Financial Responsibilities Matrix, including advice and support on service credit and project delivery credit processes.
Stakeholder Support
Work closely with senior contract managers and business stakeholders to ensure contract changes and financial processes align with governance requirements.
Provide accurate, timely information to support decision-making and contract governance activities.
Sourcing
Execute low-complexity sourcing events and supplier selection processes to identify the most suitable supply options to fulfil business demand.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to influence behaviours and ensure appropriate involvement of Procurement in all sourcing activities.
- Maintain awareness of the restrictions, controls and accreditations that are placed upon suppliers working in a Defence environment, ensuring at all times that both sourcing strategies and the incumbent supplier base do not jeopardise or threaten internal compliance.
- Ensure compliance with process, governance and controls as agreed in the Procurement Code of Practice and Sourcing methodology.
- Collaboratively develop plans with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of targets, improve supplier performance, and implement continuous improvement plans across spend.
- Collaborate with peers to develop and enhance systems, process, and best practice sharing to help our client achieve best in class performance and bring consistency to sourcing activities.

Experience & Qualifications
- Evidence of competency and experience of working within Procurement and ideally in an defence environment.
- 1+ years in a Procurement or Supply Chain related role
- Knowledge of procurement systems and infrastructure.
