The Best Connection West Bromwich is recruiting for a Yard / FLT Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Smethwick. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with excellent benefits and overtime potential.
Working Hours-
Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 17:00

Overtime available with premium rates
This is a varied and fast-paced position, with a mix of:

70% yard-based duties (outdoors)

30% FLT work
Your day-to-day will include:
-
Picking gas cylinders using pick sheets
-
Loading and unloading stillages
-
Securing cylinders safely using ratchet straps
-
Operating a Counterbalance FLT to load/unload HGVs
-
Assisting customers with cylinder handling
-
Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe
-
Supporting with general duties as needed
Full PPE and workwear provided

Valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
