Summary

Groundworker (FT Dumper) - National Grid Person

Cilfynydd | £25 per hour | 7:30am - 5:30pm | Monday - Friday | Temporary

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Civil Operative / Groundworker to support works on a National Grid substation project in Cilfynydd. This role involves working within a live high-voltage infrastructure environment, supporting substation upgrades.

Key Duties:
  • Carry out general groundworks on a National Grid substation site.

  • Operate plant including dumper and roller where required.

  • Assist with excavation, ducting, trenching and reinstatement works.

  • Support civil construction activities associated with substation infrastructure.

  • Work safely within a high-voltage transmission environment.

  • Adhere to all site health, safety and environmental procedures.

  • Ensure works are completed in line with project requirements and schedule.

Requirements:
  • National Grid Person (NG Person).

  • CPCS or NPORS Dumper ticket.

  • CPCS or NPORS Roller ticket.

  • Previous experience working on National Grid or high-voltage substation projects.

What We Offer:
  • £25 per hour.

  • 45 hours per week.

  • Temporary role for 2-4 weeks.

  • Start date Monday 23rd March.
