Summary
Frenchmoor Garden Buildings are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Multi trader to join our team (employed not self-employed), with the ability to work independently whilst maintaining the high standard of workmanship throughout the construction process that we pride ourselves on.
Responsibilities
Fabricate premium garden building panels, doors, windows.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
Perform carpentry tasks related to projects, ensuring precision in measurements and cuts.
Engage in roofing activities as required, contributing to the overall construction process.
Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and completing installations.
Assist with painting of finished products.
Ability to deal with customers as part of the erecting process.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Willingness to travel as required.
Positive can do attitude/energy.
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
Proven experience in carpentry/Multi trade or a related field within the construction industry.
Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry work.
Familiarity with roofing practices is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Experience in painting is desirable.
Team leader experience a bonus.
Full driving licence is required. (Cat C1 would be beneficial)
