Summary
To work across the Divisions and Directorates to ensure that high quality performance reporting governance structures are in place and adhered to.
This role requires a flexible approach to working across a range of specialty areas to ensure that the performance reports and assurance meetings are appropriately administered providing insights from complex data analysis to inform executives of triangulated themes (positives and concerns) are highlighted.
There is a need to use statistical tools and techniques so that the assurance process from Ward to Trust Board is an open and transparent culture.
The role will include working with areas where there are concerns or requirements for recover plans and will be a key member of the Chief Operating Officer’s office supporting both the Chief Operating Officer and their Deputies to ensure performance accountability embraces the principle of high quality, safe services deliver high performance.
There will be a requirement to work with the performance and Intelligence team to ensure that national benchmarking intelligence is used to inform performance analysis and trajectory setting.
Responsible to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer to support the performance and accountability function of the Chief Operating Officer’s office on behalf o the Trust.
Co-ordinate the delivery of performance and accountability structure so that executive directors can operate as inquisitive senior leaders to be assured of divisional performance to then attend Board Subcommittees and the Trust Board to provide assurance of the relevant performance indicators
Responsible for supporting the triangulation of information to enable positives and challenges to be highlighted and acted upon
To coordinate the production of reports to the Trust Board and sub committees as required by the Chief Operating Officer.
To lead with the ambition of being the best ensuring patients, visitors and staff experience excellent customer service in the delivery of outstanding care eradicating delays.
Chair programmes of work which will lead to improvements in service delivery ensuring that any business case requirements are met and appropriate governance is in place, ensuring that there is a return on investment and the programmes meets its objectives.
Operate an effective and transparent performance management framework which enforces clear accountability for delivery in and across the Directorate, ensuring prompt recovery of under-performance and recognising success through earned autonomy.
