Summary

Assessment, analysis, diagnosis, treatment and management of a range of acquired swallowing and communication disorders. Mental capacity assessments and support with decision making around key life decisions. Involvement in videofluoroscopy and fibre optic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing ( FEES). Involvement in service development. Involvement in clinical governance processes and activities eg audit and CPD. Participation in MDMs, case discussion, discharge planning and family meetings. Being a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
