Summary
Come and work at an exceptional school! Working in a school can be one of the most rewarding, exhilarating and exciting
experiences. We also recognise that it can be frustrating and hard work! We spend a considerable amount of time at work, so it
is vital that we are in a place where we feel supported, fulfilled and can enjoy our working life. We believe we have this at
Cleeve Meadow.
Cleeve Meadow School is an ambitious and dynamic SEND school providing a highly specialised education for 137 students between 11
and 19 years of age, who have moderate learning difficulties and may have other associated additional needs. Our school is a
place where traditional values meet innovation. We have staff who are passionate about the very best education for our young
people. We aim to inspire learners to seek what they do not yet know. You will find our school has a thoroughly inclusive
approach to all we do, celebrating varied successes of our incredible students. Together, working in partnership with parents and
carers, we successfully foster and develop a positive attitude in our young people and a belief in achieving beyond their
expectations. Cleeve Meadow aims to ensure that all students have the maximum opportunity to participate fully in society to
enhance their life chances. The support and guidance students receive from staff will give them the confidence to learn
independently and strive to achieve. The school aims to be a centre of excellence for its students, parents/carers, staff, local
authorities and the wider community.
In the role as Teaching Assistant, you will work under the instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the
Teacher and Senior TA to support access to learning for students and provide general support to the Teacher in the management of
students and the classroom. Support students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs ensuring
their safety and encourage students to interact with others and to engage in activities led by the teacher.
Please note: Visits to the school are recommended and welcome.

AI can support your application, but it is the real you we want to hear from! AI is making people think about how to complete a
job application. Technology is changing and AI tools are evolving constantly. We are definitely not against it, we love to see
innovation. However, here at Cleeve Meadow School, we employ the real you, not the AI version. Should you choose to use AI to
assist with your application, that is your choice, but ensure the final draft presents you! How you think, your professional
working history and what drives you. Here at Cleeve Meadow School we are seeking people who reflect our values, want to make a
difference and have the ambition and believe in education’s strength to change lives. This is all you, AI cannot reproduce this
passion. Perhaps AI can help get things flowing, but ensure you as a person are visible and heard.
