Overview
A professional male principal based in a luxury Central London residence is seeking a highly capable and detail-focused full-time Housekeeper to take primary responsibility for maintaining the home to an exceptional standard, alongside supporting with driving and day-to-day logistics.
This is a housekeeping-led role. The principal is looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and can fully manage the upkeep, presentation and organisation of a high-end home.
In addition to housekeeping, the role includes chauffeur duties and driving support. This will be a meaningful part of the position and will include assisting the principal with day-to-day tasks, errands, and general logistics.
The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and comfortable working independently, with the ability to take ownership of the household while remaining responsive to the principal’s needs.
Flexibility is a key requirement. The role will generally follow a structured working week, however the candidate must be adaptable and willing to adjust their approach when required.
Key Responsibilities
• Full housekeeping to an exceptional standard within a luxury residence
• Daily cleaning and ongoing upkeep with strong attention to detail
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
• Ensuring the home is consistently well presented, organised and fully maintained
• Managing household supplies and ensuring everything is stocked and in place
• Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running and upkeep of the residence
• Chauffeur duties, including driving the principal as required
• Supporting the principal’s schedule through reliable and professional driving
• Running errands, shopping and assisting with household logistics
Requirements
• Proven experience working as a housekeeper within a private household
• Strong housekeeping ability with excellent attention to detail
• Experience maintaining high standards within a luxury home
• Confident and experienced driver, ideally with experience driving principals
• Hands-on, practical and proactive approach
• Able to take ownership of responsibilities and work independently
• Flexible and adaptable, with a professional attitude
• Comfortable working in a single principal household environment
• Professional, discreet and reliable
• Good spoken English
• Right to work in the UK
