Position Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join a well-established, family-owned 3-star hotel in Blairgowrie.
The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes. Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Kitchen Operations
- Prepare and cook dishes within the assigned section to a high standard
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
- Assist with preparation of ingredients before service
- Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Contribute ideas for menu development, focusing on fresh food
Teamwork & Section Support
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient service
- Support and guide junior kitchen team members
- Maintain a well-organised and prepared section at all times
- Promote a positive team culture and collaborative environment
Standards, Hygiene & Compliance
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation, and waste control
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Uphold the hotel’s quality and service standards
Skills, Experience & Competencies
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fine dining environment
- Passion for fresh food and delivering high-quality menus
- Strong knowledge of ingredients and cooking techniques
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Professional approach with a strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English
