Summary
We are seeking a Personal Assistant to support a bright and energetic 10‑year‑old boy with autism, ADHD, and a learning disability as he enjoys life in the Tayport area.
Our client is a cheerful, lively young boy who loves being outdoors and getting involved in activities he enjoys. He’s full of personality, great fun to spend time with, and thrives when he’s active and engaged.
We’re looking for someone who’s happy to join him for swimming sessions, soft play adventures, outdoor play parks, and the occasional fast‑food treat. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the go and getting involved in activities that bring joy and excitement to a young person’s day.
The ideal candidate will be physically active, patient, and enthusiastic about helping him socialise and explore his local community. Building a trusting, positive relationship is key. He can be very impulsive, and when something catches his attention, he may dash off to find it—so we need someone calm, safety‑aware, and able to respond with confidence.
As the role involves supporting him out and about, a driving licence is essential. Some personal care is required, and the family will be on hand to guide you through his needs.
Applicants should bring a caring nature, plenty of patience, a good sense of humour, and a reliable, flexible approach to work. Experience is an advantage but not essential.
This role requires an enhanced PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check.
