Job Title: Area Manager – Leakage Framework
Location: Scotland
Salary: £47,999
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to one of the water industry's most critical challenges while developing your
expertise across data, network operations, and strategic resolution planning. Hydrosave is part of the South Staffordshire Group –
a 3,000-strong organisation behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses – offering
long-term development and career progression.
As Area Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across the region. You will ensure performance,
safety, and service standards are consistently met, while supporting the needs of both our client and operational teams.
Flexibility is essential, as you will balance operational priorities with client expectations, ensuring a smooth and efficient
service at all times.
The Role:
* Lead and manage regional operations across Clyde, Central and Ayr
* Champion a strong health, safety and wellbeing culture
* Ensure compliance with all safety standards, training, and reporting requirements
* Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and promote continuous improvement
* Support and develop teams through coaching, training, and performance management
* Foster an inclusive, engaged and high-performing team environment
* Work closely with Training Managers and Field Team Leaders to build capability
* Deliver against budgets and support financial performance
* Analyse data, monitor KPIs, and identify risks and opportunities
* Contribute to monthly P&L reviews and operational reporting

* Proven experience in people management and leadership
* Strong knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing practices
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Confidence working with data and IT systems (Excel / Power BI desirable)
* A proactive, solution-focused approach
* Experience within leakage or utilities (beneficial but not essential)
