Summary

Services Coordinator

A regional house builder seeks to appoint an experienced Services Coordinator to join their regional offices in Lancashire. The company specialise in new build properties ranging from starter homes for first time buyers to detached family homes.

As a Services Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that all developments within your region are provided with public utilities diversions, protection and supply proposals.

Services Coordinator - Key duties:

  • To work with the Technical Department to ensure smooth transition of information takes place
  • To co-ordinate all information between Public Utility Companies and internal departments
  • To collate information from Public Utility Companies
  • To obtain competitive disconnection, diversion and supply proposals for all new build developments
  • To check all proposal drawings against design drawings for accuracy, connections, build route and commercial suitability
  • To liaise with Consultants and utility providers to ensure deadlines are met
  • To ensure we have cost effective schemes & solutions
  • To work with the Commercial Department to ensure orders are placed in a timely manner and within cost plan allowance
  • To attend site to solve any problems that arise during the construction process
  • Work closely with the Construction Director at pre-planning stage to understand site constraints
  • To manage the design and approval of street lighting schemes including supplies

Services Coordinator - Skills & Experience required

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Good at developing relationships
  • Flexible - able to work at all levels and at hands on level
  • Proven written communication skills
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Previous experience of building relationships with clients/customers
  • IT skills including Microsoft packages (advanced knowledge)
