Summary

Are you a disciplined site labourer looking for a stable, long-term role on a high-profile commercial project? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated individual to join a major site team in Kilmarnock. This is an ongoing contract for a candidate who takes pride in a well-run, safe site.

The Role:

Working on a commercial development requires a proactive approach to logistics and safety. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Site Logistics: Assisting with the managed delivery of commercial materials and ensuring they are stored correctly.
  • Trade Support: Providing essential manual support to skilled subcontractors (Joiners, Electricians, and M&E teams).
  • High-Standard Housekeeping: Ensuring all walkways, fire escapes, and work zones are kept clear of debris to maintain strict Health & Safety standards.
  • Waste Management: Coordinating the segregation of materials and ensuring skips are managed efficiently.

Role Requirements:

To be considered for this commercial role, you must possess:

  • Valid CSCS Card: (Mandatory for site access).
  • Commercial Experience: Proven experience working on commercial or industrial sites (offices, retail, or public sector).
  • Full PPE: Hard hat, high-visibility vest/jacket, and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Reliability: A professional "on-site, on-time" attitude. Punctuality is critical for site inductions and daily briefings.
  • Communication: Ability to follow complex site instructions and work as part of a large multi-trade team.
