Summary
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and efficient Associate Dentist to join our well-established and busy dental practice. This role is suited to a confident clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care while managing a high clinical workload.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a full range of NHS dental treatments to a high standard
Manage a high-volume patient list efficiently and effectively
Achieve an expected target of approximately 1000 UDAs per day
Provide excellent patient care with a focus on prevention and long-term oral health
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with regulatory standards
Work collaboratively with the wider dental team, including nurses and hygienists
Comply with all GDC, CQC, and cross-infection control regulations
Contribute to the growth and success of the practice
Requirements
BDS or equivalent dental qualification
Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
NHS Performer Number (essential)
Valid indemnity insurance
Proven ability to manage a busy workload
Strong clinical and organisational skills
Excellent communication and patient management abilities
Desirable Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a high-volume NHS practice
Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality of care
Interest in private treatments alongside NHS work
Experience using dental software systems
