Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, dynamic and forward-thinking experienced Catering Assistant to join our friendly and professional team at Cannock Chase Hospital in providing a high standard of care within the specialties of elective surgery.

You should be enthusiastic, be able to use your own initiative, and be able to work as a team member.

This is an ideal career opportunity for anyone looking to develop their existing skills and to provide a first-class service whilst engaging with patients.

Preparing breakfast including the making of toast, Washing all crockery and Utensils. Preparing kitchen for the next meal service. stock up the ward kitchen cupboards with provisions needed including cereals etc., The Rotating stock. Loading up the regen ovens with the days food, plate the meals up for patients. Leaving kitchen clean and tidy.

Helping ward staff and patients choosing special dietary requirements.

Duties in the main catering department dealing with general tasks eg Loading food trollies to be taken to wards, rotating stock in cupboards and fridge/freezer, mopping floors, general cleaning, putting away deliveries.
